Situated on Regency Square, just opposite the West Pier in the centre of Brighton, each of our 27 bedrooms have been individually designed and decorated to create a real “home-from-home”.

As a member of the housekeeping team, you will be responsible for cleaning rooms and public areas to a 5* standard and ready for guests. You must have great attention to detail, be organised, have high standards of cleanliness and be self-motivated.

Shifts are from approximately 10/11am to 4pm each day. 3-4 shifts per week with availability to work weekends.

We’ll teach you everything you need to know, although candidates will preferably have some cleaning experience. You will naturally take pride in a job well done, with a willingness to learn, a great attitude and great work ethic.

There is also the opportunity to combine this role with general assistant duties within the hotel such as front of house waitressing and bartending, for those who would like this!

About the Role:

We are looking for an outstanding daytime House Manager to join our passionate team. Alongside the General Manager and management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day hotel operations run smoothly whilst always ensuring a friendly welcome and farewell, guest relations and whilst acting as the Host and making sure that everyone has a great time!

Always making sure the booking calendars for the hotel, restaurant, bar & event spaces are well organised, guest enquiries & reservations expertly managed and the days operations smooth and efficient. You are a dab hand at front of house administration. You stay calm under pressure, create a great ambience and take pride in 5* cleanliness and presentation – with thorough room checks and managing the housekeeping team.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you may be required to jump into many different departments to ensure the smooth operation of the shift. Hence you must be able to adapt to and have a ‘can-do’ attitude in getting stuck in as required.
